Simone Ren is a pianist and painter based in Vancouver, Canada.


She made her orchestral debut with the Coquitlam Youth Orchestra performing Saint-Saens Concerto N. 2 in G Minor as first prize winner of the Yarilo Piano Scholarship Competition. Most recently, Simone won “best performance of a baroque work” at the Oakridge International Piano Competition. An active composer, she has received commissions from the Charlotte New Music Festival (USA), HighScore Music Festival (Italy) as well as completed the composition program at EAMA Nadia Boulanger Institute in Paris. Her previous piano teachers include Rosemary O'Connor and Dr. Corey Hamm. In 2025, Simone received a piano fellowship from the Mostly Modern Festival in New York and was a participant in the summer program at Domaine Forget.


Simone has held 2 solo art exhibitions at Commercial Street Cafe and Gallery. Her works have also been shown at Slice of Life Art Gallery, Seymour Art Gallery and commissioned by Adi Magazine (to be published in early 2026).
